Be careful with the targets you buy if you buy spinners. This rifle is powerful enough to bend and deform steel at 25 (possibly 50) yards. I have had a few spinner welding point snap off on the spinner target after a few shots at it due to the power of the round. Also note that while there is oil in the chamber (either when you first get it or after lubricating it after 500 pellets) the rifle is VERY loud. I would compare it to the loudness of a 22LR pistol. But after about 3-4 shots it becomes very quiet, about as quiet as a plastic BB gun, which is great if you dont want to make a ruckus! Do not overlube it (use Crosman oil every 500 pellets or so, just a drop or two into the chamber) and perhaps run a cleaner pellet through it every 2000 pellets or so. Note, due to how powerful this rifle is you will ruin it if you shoot a cleaner pellet through it, you have to push it through with a rod, and be careful with that, if you scratch the inside of the barrel you can ruin it, always clean from the stock to the muzzle, never muzzle to stock.

I cannot justify parting with 120 plus for an air gun because I'd have to get another. 22 or. 17 hmr if I was going to spend any more money.
